    Florida Hospital Orlando Women’s Pavilion

    Orlando, Florida

The client expressed a desire to have their architectural “halo” lit with white light throughout the year. However, during special awareness periods, such as Breast Cancer Awareness month in October, they requested the halo be lit with a specific color to bring attention to the cause.   The lengths of both the east and west sides of the building are custom-built eW Graze QLX Powercore 5500K, which were modified to operate through a DMX Based control system. Along the the length of the east and west walls, ColorBlast Powercore RGB fixtures were included to create a wash that will be utilized to bring attention to causes like Autism Awareness or Child Cancer Awareness months. The control system allows for automatic activation of these annual specialty shows, which frees the client from having to operate the system at all.

Curtis Hixon Fountains & Palm Trees

    Tampa, Florida

The City of Tampa wanted an inviting experience in the downtown Riverwalk area with a focus on highlighting two existing features of the park – the Curtis Hixon Fountains and nearby cluster of palm trees. For the fountain portion of this project, 8 rows of C-Splash 2 were installed with 6 units per row. In the palm tree area, ColorBurst Compacts, each with 41 Degree spread lens, were mounted about 20’ up the trunk and aimed at the underbrush of the tree’s canopy. The iPlayer 3 was programmed for setting up shows to reflect the requirements of special events throughout the year that include Come out with Pride, NHL’s Tampa Bay Lightning games, Halloween and New Year’s Eve. Visitors choose to either run through the fountains as the lights chase and water jets change speed or simply relax in the nearby chairs to view the cascading lighting magic as they enjoy an evening down by the Riverwalk.

    Amway Center Spire Icon

    Orlando, Florida

While the new arena was being built in Orlando, the owners envisioned the creation of an icon that would provide residents an idea of events taking place inside the Amway Center.  The tower is split into 11 sections, each containing ColorGraze QLX Powercore lining the base of each individual section.  The iPlayer 3 control system stores the show files.  The iPlayer 3 is linked to the building management system which allows the facility to activate the shows manually from any location in the building.

    Orlando, Florida

The client wished to create a statement at their main campus in downtown Orlando. We implemented several hundred feet of ColorGraze QLX lined up vertically along the reverse sides of three large frosted glass structures. Orlando Health has been utilizing the installation often, changing the colors weekly, to bring attention to different causes like Child Cancer Awareness and Autism Awareness. The glass structure is often seen in a shade of purple to support the Orlando City Soccer Club, an organization which Orlando Health proudly sponsors.
