SNS102 brings the following key added functionality…


• Group to applicable wireless switches for personal control.

EasySense Fixture-Mount Sensor

Until now, it hasn’t been simple or cost-effective to add sensors to every luminaire in order to meet stringent customer energy-saving requirements or to address code-compliancy strategies. Most sensors use a bulky two-box system that is expensive and cumbersome to design-in and install. The sensors are also typically remote mounted from the fixtures, installed in the ceiling and unsightly to occupants. However, the Philips EasySense fixture-mount sensor, with its single-box format, makes it easy to save both time and cost when integrating occupancy sensing and daylight harvesting to every luminaire.

Philips EasySense fixture-mount sensors are connected to Philips Advance Xitanium SR LED drivers with two simple wires to reduce design-in complexity and facilitate installation while becoming an integral part of energy-saving and code-compliancy strategies.

Convenient Smartphone-Based App



Philips field apps allow programming of occupancy/daylight sensing parameters and fine-tuning of light levels during installation. It can also be used for grouping of fixtures to applicable wireless switches. Register for a username/password and download “Philips field apps” from the Google Play Store. The app works on certain Android phones with NFC or IR. See “Recommended Phones” and the “EasySense App User Manual” in the download section.


Easily Add Wireless Switches  


EasySense SNS102 now works with applicable wireless switches. Sensors can be grouped to switches to enable on/off and dim-up/dim-down functionality. Grouping is easily accomplished via the EasySense IR feature of the Philips field apps from floor level. Once grouped, sensor parameters can also be programmed for the group in one step without having to program each individual sensor.
